What to bring
Dental check-up
A check-up with your own dentist in the last 6 months, so we know your teeth and gums are healthy.
Medical history
Complete our short online form before your visit, including any medicines or allergies.
Parent or guardian
Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian with them to give consent.
Time and a snack
Allow around 2½ hours. Eat beforehand, and brush and floss before you arrive.

For most patients, yes. Your exam, records, treatment plan and fitting all happen in the same appointment. If something needs attention first, such as an extraction or a check-up with your dentist, we’ll explain why and book your fitting for the earliest date that suits.
No. We’ll talk you through your options, timing and fees, and you’re welcome to take them away and think it over. If you’d rather wait, we simply book your fitting for another day.
Having braces fitted isn’t painful. Your teeth may feel tender for a few days afterwards as they begin to move, and we’ll give you a care kit and advice to keep you comfortable.
The fee depends on the type of braces and the length of your treatment. You’ll get a clear written quote before anything is fitted, and payment plans are available to spread the cost.
No referral is needed. You can book directly with us online or by phone.
Clear aligners are custom-made from your 3D scan, so they take a few weeks to arrive. We can complete your exam, scan and plan in one visit, then fit your aligners as soon as they’re ready.
